No need to sell the house, Tony. Get a mortgage of 100,000 quid on it, telling your friendly bank manager the money is for house improvements. You won't even be lying- having the Priller in your living room will improve the house for so! And if you manage to sell the wicked mother-in-law you can put the cash towards the purchase of the Priller and need less than 100,000 from the bank, which should please the bank manager. Everybody happy.

Yeh I suppose just another toxic loan along with all those given to unemployed students who now drive round in Beemas and Audis only to find them repossessed when they stop paying.

I did have a bank loan for an Aermacchi Metisse in 1972. Much to my surprise my bank manager was of Italian descent whose family lived back in Italy at, guess where, Varese the home of Aermacchi.

The Prilia went for £101180. I had a good look at it. A work of art not just a racing machine. 8-)

tonyed: Totaly agree. Is this price high? I think not. This is extremely rare bike, winning 16 races in 2007 and champion´s bike.
As Tony said, it is realy master piece of art and propably the highest 2 stroke GP level ever reached. When I see selling prices for any ugly "art" and painting, I ´m wondering that prices of some cars or bikes are maybe too low, even I can´t afford it. Because these bikes and cars are extract of houndreds people effort and many of them are really very nice and eyecatching. Like this Aprilia.

That Aprilia racebikes (also the later street-bikes like the 250 two-stroke) are very nice and extremly good quality built !!!
Have seen some a bit like this bike for sale in Italy and other places, became a bit week, but they are (of corse) not very cheap
They are allmost 'technical art' gone to the maximum, like said before.
May be, like often art, cars and other stuff, after a few years we say... I should have.......!!!!!
