Interestingly the same seller has some other Kawasaki parts on the same site, crankcases etc and also on this site is a warning that he might be a scammer.

The photo of the H1R looked familiar.

Remember the thread sometime back about the H1R found in Scandinavia where it had been in a shed for 30 odd years. It reminded me of some of the photos taken when it was rescued.

just looking through those photos in the 'Barn Find' thread just down the list here. It DEFINITELY was this one. Te ad said it was an abandoned project. :o

That Chris Heyden or Hayden, for he changes his name in the same add, is definitely a scammer.
Like so many of the new members on RBM, that have exotic offers.
If you want to buy the H2 Nitrous injected engine, just call Brian from Vintage Connection in Montana;

If I doubt the offer, I often google a text of the add or photo.
Most of the times you can then find the original posting for that is also how the scammers get their pics and info.

Cheers,
Leo.

its a scam. the bike belongs to Per Olofsson. he still has the bike. he also saw the add and was trying to have it removed, Per was recently in Chicago USA where I sent him a HPI ignition, just in case he couldn't get the original H1R ignition to work he would have a "back up"
